Deck overview

Omnath, Locus of the Void leads a colorless Big Mana and Voltron-Stax control deck that leverages colorless ramp, taxing artifacts, and massive mana storage. The deck accelerates through early turns using dense mana rocks like Sol Ring, Mind Stone, and Thran Dynamo, casting Omnath by Turn 5. Omnath acts as both a mana battery and a lethal combat threat, converting unspent mana into scaling power and toughness while generating extra colorless mana on every land drop. The strategy reinforces Omnath with powerful equipment such as Commander's Plate—which grants protection from all five colors—alongside Trailblazer's Boots and Brotherhood Regalia for unblockability. To buy the time needed for sequential combat eliminations by Turn 8, the deck deploys disruptive stax pieces including Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Trinisphere, supported by asymmetric sweepers like All Is Dust and endgame behemoths like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Portal to Phyrexia.
