Deck overview

This Jeskai spellslinger deck is commanded by Shiko and Narset, Unified, focusing on chaining noncreature spells to gain continuous card advantage and copy high-impact instants and sorceries. Early turns focus on developing mana through rocks like Arcane Signet and setting up defensive enchantments such as Propaganda and Ghostly Prison. Once the commander and key mana generators like Storm-Kiln Artist or Birgi, God of Storytelling are established, the deck rapidly cycles through its library with cheap cantrips. The mid-to-late game aims for an explosive Turn 6 storm finish, generating huge mana pools with Mana Geyser or Magecraft triggers to fuel Aetherflux Reservoir, Thousand-Year Storm, or Grapeshot. Strong reactive countermagic and targeted removal keep opponents in check while protecting your critical storm turn.
