Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats and Vampire tribal strategy led by Elenda, the Dusk Rose. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap sacrifice outlets and blood artist drain effects, then resolving Elenda to capitalize on creature deaths. Once Elenda accumulates substantial power, she is sacrificed—either via utility outlets or symmetric board wipes—to spawn a massive army of 1/1 lifelink Vampire tokens. These tokens overwhelm opponents through wide lifelink attacks and subsequent sacrifice waves that drain the table in tandem with cards like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats. The deck also features a compact two-card infinite combo in Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond as a high-inevitability late-game finish. While the deck possesses resilient redundancy across its core roles, it remains vulnerable to targeted exile removal on Elenda, graveyard hate, and fast uninteractive combo strategies due to its modest package of instant-speed interaction.
