Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and token swarm strategy built around Ovika, Enigma Goliath. It prioritizes heavy artifact ramp in the early game, utilizing over 20 mana rocks to reliably deploy its 7-mana commander on Turn 5. Once Ovika is established, every noncreature spell—ranging from cheap cantrips and interaction to high-cost convoke and affinity spells—triggers the creation of hasty 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens scaled to mana value. The deck converts this rapid token generation into victory through explosive combat buffs like Shared Animosity and City on Fire, or indirect burn from Impact Tremors, Molten Gatekeeper, and Goblin Bombardment. Built-in ward protection on Ovika and convoke-based card draw such as Harmonized Crescendo keep the deck resilient against single-target interaction while maintaining a rapid clock.
