Deck overview

Kefka is a Grixis noncreature-spellslinger deck that turns discard, draw, and cast-trigger damage into a mid-game burst kill. The front face pressures hands and fills the graveyard; the back face is a draw engine, but the deck rarely pays {8} and instead wins through The Emperor of Palamecia's transformation and repeated noncreature spells. Black Waltz No. 3, Queen Brahne, and Wizard tokens convert every instant/sorcery into damage, while flashback cards and Quistis/Seifer reuse them. The Emperor's Lord Master form finishes with a large graveyard attack; Tellah and Gogo offer a secondary burst. Kefka's role is disruption and card advantage, not the primary finisher. No separate hidden commander exists; The Emperor is the deck's lieutenant.
