Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius midrange strategy commanded by Denzilore Fatehold. It leverages dense scry and surveil mechanics alongside the custom Empower Jace mechanic to generate continuous card filtering, planeswalker loyalty, and board-wide +1/+1 counters. By deploying early evasive utility creatures and flashing in Denzilore at an opponent's end step, the deck immediately transitions into an aggressive stance, using cheap cantrips like Opt, Preordain, and Consider as combat pumps. Supporting card draw engines such as Matoya, Archon Elder and Elminster turn selection spells into card advantage. While the deck possesses alternate win conditions in Approach of the Second Sun and Damning Verdict as an asymmetric board wipe, its primary route to victory is aerial combat damage. The list is well-supported by reactive blue-white counterspells and spot removal, though it lacks heavy stax effects and fast-mana burst acceleration.
