landfall/sacrifice by user7429544

Format: Commander

Commander: Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Built around Hearthhull, the Worldseed, this Jund land-sacrifice deck converts lands into card advantage and life loss. Each sacrificed land drains opponents for 2, so fetchlands, Titania, and Hearthhull's own activation double as ramp, card draw, and reach. The core loop is to fill the graveyard with lands, recur them with Splendid Reclamation or Aftermath Analyst, then use landfall payoffs such as Omnath, Locus of Rage and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to turn a single mass-recursion turn into lethal token attacks and extra combat phases. Gitrog, Korvold, and Azusa keep the hand and land drops high. The commander supplies repeatable sacrifice and draw; the 99 provides the recursion and the kill.
