Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Wolverine, Claws Out as an aggressive Voltron commander. Wolverine bypasses blockers and doubles his own power whenever he attacks. With a low curve of 1-drop mana dorks, the deck consistently casts Wolverine on Turn 3 and equips him on Turn 4. Equipment like Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and Bone Sabres turns Wolverine into a one- or two-hit lethal threat. The deck backs up this primary line with +1/+1 counter synergies from cards like Branching Evolution and alternate Mutant beaters. Because Wolverine assigns combat damage directly to players regardless of blockers, he ignores opposing creature walls. The strategy closes games through sequential combat eliminations or table-wide overruns via Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes. However, the deck operates with minimal instant-speed interaction and must carefully defend Wolverine against removal during extended combat rotations.
