Deck overview

This Rakdos deck leverages Deadpool, Trading Card alongside a high-density suite of token-cloning engines and asymmetric burn payoffs. The deck aims to establish an early mana advantage through low-cost rocks and rituals, setting up Turn 4 deployments of powerhouse anchors such as Terror of the Peaks, The Master, Multiplied, and Purphoros, God of the Forge. By Turn 5, temporary and persistent copy engines—including Rionya, Fire Dancer, Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Molten Duplication, and Blade of Selves—generate massive bursts of direct ETB damage and exponential creature swarms. While Deadpool offers flexible disruption by stealing high-value opposing abilities and saddling commanders with an upkeep life-drain tax, the deck functions entirely independently of its commander. Supported by 1-mana undying protection spells, artifact-enabled split-second casting via Shadow the Hedgehog, and black card advantage engines like Necropotence, the deck presents a fast, resilient clock that reliably closes games on Turn 6.
