Relics Don’t Stay Buried by KotaMori

Format: Commander

Commander: Quintorius, History Chaser

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a highly synergistic Boros (Red/White) graveyard-value and token-swarm strategy helmed by Quintorius, History Chaser. The primary game plan revolves around filling the graveyard through discard and mill effects, then moving cards out of the graveyard via flashback, escape, or recursion to trigger powerful "whenever one or more cards leave your graveyard" payoffs. By repeatedly triggering Quintorius and redundant pieces like Garrison Excavator and Ark of Hunger, the deck generates an overwhelming army of 3/2 Spirit tokens and incidental burn damage. The deck eschews infinite combos in favor of massive combat inevitability, utilizing anthems like Warleader's Call and Balefire Liege, alongside token doublers like Elspeth, Storm Slayer. Secondary win conditions include direct damage from Advanced Reconstruction and Cool but Rude, or a massive finishing swing with Moonshaker Cavalry. It plays as a resilient, value-engine midrange deck that grinds opponents down through sheer attrition and an inescapable board presence.
