Cloud, ex-soldier by Creature901

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an aggressive Naya Equipment deck helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, built to generate snowballing combat value through cloud's haste, attack-triggered card draw, and Treasure generation. The strategy is to cheaply equip Cloud, attack immediately to draw into more Equipment, and use the treasure from his power-7 trigger to chain extra combats via Tifa, Martial Artist or overwhelming value pieces like Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor and Conqueror's Flail. The deck's primary win is commander damage and equipped-creature combat damage, backed by a secondary alt-win condition in Hellkite Tyrant and heavy equipment-recursion pieces like Aerith, Last Ancient and Unfinished Business. The commander itself is a card-advantage and mana engine on an evasive, hasty body, making the deck fast, aggressive, and surprisingly resilient in a midrange-combo hybrid style.
