Deck overview

This is an Abzan lands deck that wins by turning extra land drops into a wide board and then finishing with combat. Thalia and The Gitrog Monster gives you an extra land each turn, slows opponents by making their creatures and nonbasic lands enter tapped, and draws cards when it attacks. You use that draw and ramp to build landfall tokens with Avenger of Zendikar, Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer and Scute Swarm, then close with Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation. The hidden engines are The Gitrog Monster and Ancient Greenwarden, which double triggers and let you play lands from the graveyard for long-term value and Strip Mine locks.
