Deck overview

This is a general-power Sultai control deck centered on Damia, Sage of Stone. Its main resource plan is to ramp into the seven-mana commander, keep the hand below seven, and use Damia's upkeep trigger to refill repeatedly. Sheoldred, the Apocalypse converts those draws into table-wide life loss, while Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Chasm Skulker, Ominous Seas, and Proft's Eidetic Memory turn card flow into board presence. The deck has a strong selection of removal and counterspells, plus useful protection for expensive permanents. Its main weakness is that its central engine is expensive and depends on two singleton creatures. The draw engine creates advantage, but the supported finish is slow: opponents receive several response cycles before repeated Sheoldred triggers can eliminate them. The list can also win through Exsanguinate or an empty-library payoff, but neither route has enough dedicated access to replace the primary plan reliably.
