Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal midrange deck commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The central strategy revolves around developing resilient, evasive Villain creatures, filtering through the library with the connive mechanic, and draining opponents whenever land cards are discarded. In the early game, the deck establishes its mana base and deploys low-cost threats or token generators like Madame Hydra and Ultron, Unlimited. By Turn 4, Doctor Doom enters to start granting menace and connive each combat step, growing the board and providing steady filtering. The mid-game leverages high-impact anthems and combat modifiers such as The Squadron Sinister and Titania, Proud Pummeler to exert lethal combat pressure across multiple opponents. While the deck boasts robust creature removal and sweeper capabilities, its primary vulnerability lies in an absence of stack-based countermagic and minimal defensive shielding against opposing board wipes.
