Bard, King of Dih by user6091576

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale pilots an Azorius token/draw value deck. The primary plan is to develop board of draw-and-token engines, then cast Bard so every non-draw-step draw and every token creation is doubled, turning cheap cantrips and X-token spells into an overwhelming army. The secondary, more deterministic plan is Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal with Talrand or Geralf as an infinite-token outlet, powered by Sol Ring or paired mana rocks. Elminster is a support planeswalker rather than a hidden commander; the list is built around Bard's replacement effects and high draw density rather than an alternate commander.
