Deck overview

This deck pairs Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to create an explosive Treasure engine. When Malcolm connects in combat, Kediss redirects his combat damage to every other opponent as noncombat damage. Because Malcolm is a Pirate, his ability triggers for each opponent dealt damage, producing three Treasure tokens every combat round. The deck uses this mana velocity to deploy coastal piracy draw engines such as Bident of Thassa and Reconnaissance Mission, drawing cards while casting evasive Pirates. The mid-to-late game converts these artifacts into win conditions using direct damage from Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, overwhelming combat swings from Port Razer and Fathom Fleet Swordjack, or an alternate win with Mechanized Production. The deck is fast and synergistic, but depends heavily on keeping small, vulnerable commanders on the board.
