Deck overview

This deck is an Ooze tribal midrange strategy commanded by Uugguu, the Omniplasm. The primary game plan revolves around deploying resilient Ooze creatures that grow via +1/+1 counters and multiply through token generation. Uugguu, the Omniplasm provides exceptional board presence and insurance against removal by splitting dying nontoken Oozes into pairs of 2/2 copies. The deck establishes its mana acceleration and initial Ooze engines by Turn 4, transitioning into exponential board growth with cards like Biowaste Blob, Biogenic Ooze, and Doubling Season. Between Turns 6 and 8, the deck closes the game through overwhelming combat damage amplified by Unnatural Growth, March of the World Ooze, or asymmetric board clearing via Raise the Palisade and Kindred Dominance. A balanced suite of counterspells, removal, and mass phasing defends key assets, while redundant standalone threats ensure the deck remains potent even if the commander is removed.
