Commander: Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer is a draw-and-discount engine rather than a finisher. The deck floods the battlefield with free or cheap face-down creatures, triggers draw from Kadena plus Secret Plans, and uses flip effects for value and board control. The primary closure is the Brine Elemental/Vesuvan Shapeshifter lock, usually backed by Muldrotha, the Gravetide as a hidden second commander for recursion. A fallback extra-turn angle uses Wormfang Manta with Temur Sabertooth, and Craterhoof Behemoth can convert a wide morph board into lethal damage. Interaction is the deck's strongest attribute, with numerous counter-or-destroy morphs backed by instant-speed removal.
