Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant leads a Sultai kindred midrange deck that bridges the synergy of Elves and Faeries. The deck combines the explosive mana acceleration of green Elves with the instant-speed interaction, evasion, and theft of blue-black Faeries. During the opening turns, early mana dorks like Priest of Titania and Llanowar Elves accelerate deployment, allowing Maralen, Fae Ascendant to enter on Turn 4 alongside an established board. Maralen immediately exiles opposing cards and casts relevant spells for free each turn. Flash enablers like High Fae Trickster and Leyline of Anticipation allow the deck to trigger Maralen and token engines on each opponent's turn, creating massive board presence and card advantage. The deck transitions into a decisive win condition around Turn 6 by overwhelming opponents with evasive Faeries buffed by tribal lords, activating Lathril, Blade of the Elves, or dropping Craterhoof Behemoth to eliminate the table across two combat cycles by Turn 8.
