Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis aggro-midrange strategy commanded by Edward Kenway, combining Pirate and Assassin tribal synergies with Vehicle combat and Treasure acceleration. Early turns focus on deploying low-cost Pirates, mana rocks, and efficient Vehicles. Once Edward enters the battlefield, tapping your board in combat generates a steady stream of Treasures each end step, while connecting Vehicles exile cards from opponents' libraries for extra card advantage. The deck leverages its mana velocity to deploy massive combat threats, steal opposing permanents with cards like Coercive Recruiter and Admiral Beckett Brass, or achieve an alternate win through Revel in Riches. Although it boasts strong engine redundancy and resilient recursion, the deck features minimal instant-speed countermagic and remains vulnerable to board wipes.
