Deck overview

This is a mono-blue draw-and-illusions deck helmed by Minn, Wily Illusionist. The primary game plan revolves around drawing two cards each turn to generate 1/1 Illusion tokens, then sacrificing those tokens (via combat, Abjure, or Skullclamp) to cheat high-mana-value permanents directly onto the battlefield. The deck's main win conditions are Thassa's Oracle after self-milling, Brain Freeze with a high storm count, The Mindskinner milling the table on each combat step, and Psychosis Crawler draining life as you draw. Value engines like Teferi's Ageless Insight and One with the Multiverse amplify the draw-and-cheat strategy. The commander is the central engine for token generation and permanent cheating, but the deck also packs alternative token makers (Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic) and multiple mill-oriented finishers, giving it a focused but flexible plan.
