Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo-control strategy led by Eligeth, Crossroads Augur and Esior, Wardwing Familiar. The game plan revolves around converting every scry effect into unconditional card draw through Eligeth's replacement ability. Esior, Wardwing Familiar provides early aerial defense and taxes targeted removal aimed at your commanders by three mana. During the opening turns, the deck deploys efficient artifact mana and defensive counterspells. Once Eligeth enters the battlefield on Turn 5, simple scry spells like Foresee, Cryptic Annelid, and Tamiyo's Epiphany become massive draw spells that refill your hand with answers and combo enablers. On Turn 6, the deck leverages mana engines like High Tide and Turnabout or cost-cheaters like Dream Halls to draw through the entire library. It closes the game in a single turn using Laboratory Maniac, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, or Psychosis Crawler while maintaining free counterspell protection.
