Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa leads a mono-black Zombie tribal aristocrats deck designed to overwhelm opponents through relentless token generation, anthem-buffed combat swarms, and passive life-drain triggers. Early turns focus on establishing mana, deploying low-cost utility Zombies, and resolving steady card-draw engines like Cryptbreaker and Undead Augur. By Turn 5, the deck deploys Ghoulcaller Gisa or a multi-piece token generator. Untapping with Gisa allows you to sacrifice large creatures to flood the board with 2/2 Zombie tokens, triggering Noxious Ghoul to wipe opposing creatures asymmetrically. As the token swarm expands, anthems from Death Baron and Undead Warchief provide lethal combat pressure, while aristocrat payoffs like Bastion of Remembrance, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel convert creature attrition into direct table damage. The deck features robust graveyard recursion to survive board wipes, though it lacks stack interaction and artifact removal.
