Deck overview

This mono-black artifact deck is commanded by Imotekh the Stormlord, focusing on generating wide armies of 2/2 Necron Warriors whenever artifact cards leave the graveyard. Supported by Warhammer 40k Necron staples and classic artifact recursion pieces, the deck uses self-mill, unearth, and death triggers to cycle artifacts continually between zones. Acceleration leans on traditional artifact mana rocks and mono-black doublers like Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast. While it lacks instant-speed stack interaction and enchantment answers, it compensates with strong creature removal, devastating sweepers like Living Death and Toxic Deluge, and high-ceiling engines like Bolas's Citadel. Victory is achieved by overwhelming the table with evasive, buffed artifact armies granting menace and afflict, closing out games reliably by Turn 8.
