Deck overview

This Izzet control-combo deck leverages Niv-Mizzet, Parun as both an overwhelming card engine and an instant-speed win condition. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Niv-Mizzet and attaching Curiosity or pairing Tandem Lookout. Drawing a card or dealing damage triggers a loop where drawing deals damage and damage draws a card, burning out opponents. Secondary paths rely on alternative burn engines like Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, Psychosis Crawler, and token swarms from The Locust God. The rest of the deck provides heavy countermagic, cheap cantrips, and cheat effects to deploy threats safely.
