Deck overview

This Dimir deck revolves around Marvo, Deep Operative, leveraging clash mechanics and precise topdeck manipulation to cheat high-impact permanents into play while building toward an infinite lifegain-lifeloss combo. By utilizing tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Scroll Rack, the deck ensures consistent clash victories whenever Marvo attacks, allowing free deployment of game-warping bombs such as Bolas's Citadel, Baneful Omen, or Exquisite Blood. The primary win condition centers on the redundant two-card infinite combo between life-loss engines (Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity) and lifegain triggers (Exquisite Blood, Bloodthirsty Conqueror). Once both pieces are assembled, any single instance of damage or life change creates an unyielding drain loop that eliminates all opponents simultaneously. Backed by a robust interaction suite featuring Force of Will, Mana Drain, and Cyclonic Rift, alongside soft-lock tools like Counterbalance, the deck controls the game tempo before executing a decisive same-turn finish.
