Deck overview

This deck is a classic Selesnya Angel Tribal battlecruiser list helmed by Sigarda, Font of Blessings. The strategy revolves around leveraging cheap tribal ramp such as Giada, Font of Hope and Starnheim Aspirant to deploy Sigarda ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once established, Sigarda provides an asymmetric shield of hexproof over all other permanents while turning the top of the library into card advantage. The deck pivots into its critical onset around Turn 6 by stacking high-impact aerial anthems and lifegain engines like Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, and Archangel of Thune. It secures victory through overwhelming combat steps in the air, reinforced by indestructible defenders such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Sephara, Sky's Blade. While lethal once entrenched, the deck suffers from a low land count of 31, scarce instant-speed interaction, and a complete absence of colored sources to cast off-color inclusions.
