Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos combat and aristocrats build helmed by Ares, God of War. The strategy focuses on attacking aggressively with self-sacrificing or high-power creatures such as Ball Lightning, Lightning Skelemental, and Rot-Curse Rakshasa. When these attacking creatures die in combat or are sacrificed to outlets like Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder, Ares triggers to return them directly to hand. This creates a relentless loop of high-damage attacks that dodge the normal card disadvantage of suicidal attackers. Aristocrat engines like Grim Haruspex, Agent Venom, and Judith, the Scourge Diva turn these combat deaths into massive card draw and table-wide burn.
