Dragon Draw by Knurlnien

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a spellslinger-control build centered on Niv-Mizzet, Parun. The primary plan is to land Niv-Mizzet, protect him with counterspells, and convert every instant/sorcery into card draw and direct damage. The deck also carries the Curiosity/Tandem Lookout combo to machine-gun the table once Niv-Mizzet is online. Secondary paths include Chandra, Hope's Beacon copying spells, Storm-Kiln Artist treasure generation, and a large instant/sorcery count fueling Haughty Djinn, Immolating Gyre, and Sorcerer Class. The commander is both the engine and the finisher; the deck is built almost entirely to resolve and protect him.
