Deck overview

This Orzhov deck operates as a midrange pillowfort and aristocrat-drain engine led by Tomik, Wielder of Law. The game plan revolves around discouraging incoming attacks through taxing effects and deterrents like Phyrexian Obliterator and Revenge of Ravens, while steadily generating tokens with cards such as Bitterblossom. As the board develops, the deck stacks life-drain engines like Bastion of Remembrance, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Commissar Severina Raine to bleed opponents while padding its own life total. Strong recursion engines like Sun Titan and Reveillark provide mid-to-late-game resilience against board wipes, and a dense removal suite keeps opposing threats in check. The deck closes games around Turn 9 by translating accumulated life leads and token swarms into decisive finishers like Debt to the Deathless, Twilight Prophet, or Aetherflux Reservoir.
