Deck overview

This is a Dimir Assassin deck built around Ramses, Assassin Lord and evasive combat. Changeling Outcast, Aqueous Form, Cover of Darkness, Brotherhood Regalia, and Whispersilk Cloak help Assassins connect, while Mari, the Killing Quill and Black Market Connections provide card and Treasure flow. The most reliable lethal route is Vorpal Sword: an evasive Assassin attacks after the Sword's large activation and makes one opponent lose immediately. Repeating that activation produces a turn-10, turn-11, and turn-12 table finish if the attacker and Equipment survive. The deck has meaningful creature removal, Counterspell, tutors, and Equipment-based protection, but those tools are not dense enough to support a fast competitive plan. Its other routes, including poison from Suq'Ata Assassin and Phyresis or life-halving attacks from Virtus the Veiled, are slower and less deterministic. The deck is therefore a general-power tribal combat deck rather than a cEDH list or an exhibition build.
