Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mono-Black Reanimator strategy helmed by Liliana the Repentant. The game plan focuses on rapidly stocking the graveyard through self-mill, dredge, and targeted discard, then using low-cost reanimation spells to cheat colossal threats into play several turns ahead of curve. Early plays like Stitcher's Supplier, Undead Butler, and Entomb set up the graveyard by turns 1-2. By turn 4, the deck deploys game-warping bombs such as Archon of Cruelty, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, or Sheoldred, Whispering One using spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Victimize. Once a flagship creature enters the battlefield, it suppresses opponents with continuous edicts, hand disruption, and life drain. The deck closes out the game through overwhelming mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Rise of the Dark Realms, or by draining the table with repeated Gray Merchant of Asphodel triggers.
