Deck overview

This Bant Commander deck is built around Choco, Seeker of Paradise, fusing Bird kindred aggression with an explosive landfall acceleration engine. The game plan opens with low-mana flying Birds on early turns to establish an immediate attacking presence. Deploying Choco on Turn 4 enables instant attack triggers, looking deep into the library to put cards into hand while accelerating multiple lands onto the battlefield tapped. This massive ramp fuels powerful kindred anthems and landfall payoffs like Felidar Retreat, Banner of Kinship, Murmuration, and Traveling Chocobo. With an exceptionally high land count of 47 lands, Choco reliably hits 1–2 bonus lands per attack, rapidly inflating creature power and triggering continuous token creation. The deck finishes games through overwhelming evasive combat damage in the air, utilizing Chocobo Knights and wide buffs to close out opponents across successive swings while holding up phase-out protection like Clever Concealment to preserve its developed flock.
