Deck overview

This deck is a classic Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The main game plan accelerates mana during the early turns using green land ramp and artifact cost reducers to cast Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once Miirym is active, every subsequent Dragon creates an immediate non-legendary token copy. The deck leverages this exponential board growth alongside lethal combat enhancers like Atarka, World Render and direct damage triggers from Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest. Card draw engines such as Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising trigger twice per Dragon cast, replenishing the hand to maintain momentum.
