Don Andres: Les pirates, les forbans ! by user9461733

Format: Commander

Commander: Don Andres, the Renegade

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis Pirates theft deck steals opponents' creatures, permanents and spells and turns them into a buffed attacking army. Don Andres, the Renegade is the payoff: he gives every creature you control but don't own +2/+2, menace, deathtouch and Pirate typing, and creates two tapped Treasures whenever you cast a noncreature spell you don't own. The primary plan is incremental theft (Thief of Sanity, Hostage Taker, Bribery, Blatant Thievery) into combat with the buff. Secondary paths are Treasure value (Professional Face-Breaker, Malcolm, Revel in Riches) and mass reanimation theft (Breach the Multiverse, Dredge the Mire). No single hidden commander exists; Thieving Amalgam and Revel in Riches act as the main alternative engines.
