Bracket: 4

DeckCheck Threat Index: 39

Deck overview

This Sultai deck leverages Vorosh, the Hunter as a massive aerial Voltron threat supported by a dense +1/+1 counter subtheme and an extra-turns package. The game plan focuses on rapid early-game acceleration through 15 one- and two-mana ramp pieces, consistently deploying Vorosh by Turn 4. Once Vorosh connects and triggers on Turn 5, it scales immediately to a 12/12 flyer, putting opponents on a rapid commander damage clock. The deck bypasses normal multiplayer combat latency by casting high-impact extra-turn spells such as Time Warp, Capture of Jingzhou, and Time Stretch, or looping them indefinitely with Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and Eternal Witness. Card advantage is sustained by format-defining staples like Rhystic Study and Sylvan Library, while a lean reactive suite of countermagic and low-cost removal shields Vorosh and answers critical opposing threats.
