Lets draw together friends - Valgavoth by user8186817

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos group-slug deck helmed by Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls, built to weaponize life loss as both a card-draw engine and a win condition. The primary plan is to deploy Valgavoth early, then layer symmetrical draw effects (Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, Spiteful Visions) with life-loss punishers (Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Fate Unraveler, Orcish Bowmasters) to turn every opponent's draw step into damage. Damage doublers like Fiendish Duo, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz accelerate the clock, while goaded creatures (Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, Xantcha, Sleeper Agent) force opponents to attack each other. The deck finishes with a massive Exsanguinate, a Heartless Hidetsugu activation, or commander damage from a pumped Valgavoth. It is a classic "everyone loses life" strategy that thrives on table-wide pressure.
