Deck overview

This Bant Commander deck pairs the token scaling of Prava of the Steel Legion with the resource sink of Thrasios, Triton Hero, centering its primary plan on an infinite creature combo. The core strategy revolves around assembling Rosie Cotton of South Lane alongside Basking Broodscale or Herd Baloth. When Rosie enters, her Food token triggers a chain reaction of +1/+1 counters and token creations, generating infinite Eldrazi Spawn tokens and infinite colorless mana. Sacrificing the Spawns allows Thrasios to draw the entire library, find Concordant Crossroads, and swing for immediate lethal table damage on the same turn. The deck supports this game plan with efficient 1-mana protection spells like Grand Abolisher, Rebuff the Wicked, and Turn Aside, as well as low-cost recursion to retrieve removed combo pieces. If the primary combo is interrupted, the deck can pivot into a go-wide midrange token beatdown plan bolstered by Prava's toughness buff and large creatures.
