Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger and Storm combo strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both a table-wide burn engine and a scalable mana accelerant, growing in power with every noncreature spell cast while pinging every opponent. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early ramp on Turns 1–2, casting Vivi on Turn 3, and untapping on Turn 4 to launch a decisive storm turn. By attaching Curiosity to Vivi or resolving trigger multipliers like Veyran, Voice of Duality, every cantrip and burn spell draws multiple cards and generates colored mana through Vivi's activated ability. The deck is supported by a top-tier interaction suite featuring free countermagic such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat to protect the combo turn. An uncounterable backup combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun ensures win inevitability if the commander is taxed, delivering lethal burn across all opponents in a single turn.
