Deck overview

This Sultai deck focuses on self-mill, land recursion, and graveyard-based token generation led by Teval, the Balanced Scale. By combining incremental land ramp with aggressive graveyard stocking, the deck converts discarded cards into a wide board of 2/2 Zombie Druids and recursive mana. The mid-game leverages high-impact threats like Avenger of Zendikar, Lord of Extinction, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, culminating in an asymmetric blowout through Living Death or evasive combat enabled by Wonder. While resilient against standard board wipes due to deep recursion tools like Life from the Loam and Conduit of Worlds, the deck lacks instant-speed stack interaction and dedicated plan shielding, making it vulnerable to well-timed graveyard hate and counterspells.
