Deck overview

The Reaper, King No More is a Jund -1/-1 counter deck that uses every counter, death, and theft trigger for value, and can close games with a compact death loop. The primary plan is to resolve Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons with Blowfly Infestation and a drainer such as Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat; each Snake's death puts another -1/-1 counter on a fresh Snake, generating infinite death triggers. Secondary paths lean on Yawgmoth, Flourishing Defenses, and The Scorpion God to grind tokens, draw cards, and steal creatures, while Maha and Everlasting Torment make even small wither hits lethal. The Reaper is a recursive theft engine and backup value piece, not the deck's combo centerpiece.
