Deck overview

This deck is a five-color spellslinger and control deck led by Niv-Mizzet, Supreme. It pairs a heavy suite of efficient two-color instant and sorcery spells with token-generating creatures like General Ferrous Rokiric, Kykar, Wind's Fury, and Monastery Mentor. The commander provides built-in protection against monocolored removal and turns the graveyard into a second hand by giving every two-color instant and sorcery jump-start. The primary win condition builds a wide board of tokens before casting an overrun effect such as Candlekeep Inspiration or draining opponents with Debt to the Deathless and Aragorn, the Uniter. In parallel, a 17-Gate mana base supports an alternate win condition through Maze's End and Scapeshift. The deck features format-ceiling reactive removal and strong recursion, though it navigates early tempo friction from its numerous tapped lands.
