Deck overview

Chief of the Wilds is a Golgari Wolf-token deck built to turn every Wolf entrance into a large Chief and every Wolf trigger into a doubling node. It develops a battlefield of 2/2 Wolf tokens, amplifies them with Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Roaming Throne, then crashes through with trample via Overwhelming Stampede or Garruk's emblem. The commander is not a hidden double-faced commander; Chief of the Wilds is the explicit focus as both a counter engine and a commander-damage threat. The deck wins through combat damage rather than a compact combo, and the burst turns on repeated upkeep token generation.
