Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis burn and cascade midrange deck commanded by Abaddon the Despoiler. Its game plan revolves around leveraging incidental group-slug damage through cards like Creeping Bloodsucker, Sanctum of Stone Fangs, and Descent into Avernus to trigger Abaddon's Mark of Chaos Ascendant ability. Once opponents take pre-combat damage, high-mana Demon threats such as Be'lakor, the Dark Master, Keeper of Secrets, and Lord of Change gain cascade, rapidly dumping free spells, tokens, and damage onto the battlefield. While highly explosive in the midgame, the deck lacks dedicated tutoring, relying instead on high card flow and redundant burn triggers. It finishes games by overwhelming opponents through cumulative direct damage and heavy evasive combat steps, notably augmented by Bloodthirster and Warstorm Surge.
