Format: Commander

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Atraxa, Praetors' Voice leads a slow, wide Saproling/Fungus deck that wins through counter-fueled token swarms. Atraxa's end-step proliferate and Sporesower Thallid's upkeep trigger convert spore counters into 1/1 Saprolings; Tendershoot Dryad, Thelonite Hermit, and Sporecrown Thallid turn those tokens into 3/3+ beaters. Secondary paths include Slimefoot, the Stowaway drains, Nemata draw/pump, and Fungal Plots/Skullclamp card advantage. Xavier Sal, Infested Captain is a hidden lieutenant, using populate/proliferate to multiply tokens and counters. The deck has good redundancy but no combo and few stack answers, so it plays a patient attrition game before a mid-late game combat kill.
