Gwenom by JB999

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Gwenom, Remorseless commands a fast, proactive mono-black combo deck that converts life into explosive card advantage and instant wins. Gwenom provides a Bolas's Citadel effect whenever she attacks, allowing you to cast spells from the top of your library by paying life rather than mana. The primary win condition loops zero-mana creatures such as Memnite or Ornithopter with Mortuary and a sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer, draining the table through Susurian Voidborn or building storm for Aetherflux Reservoir. Secondary win paths include the compact Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog infinite magecraft combo, as well as classic Bolas's Citadel lines.
