Deck overview

This is a Gruul "earthbending" deck built around animating lands and forcing extra combat phases. The primary plan is to ramp into Bumi, Unleashed, use his earthbend trigger to turn a land into a hasty creature-lands, then connect with combat damage to untap all lands and add an extra combat phase that only land creatures can attack through. The deck closes games through repeated combat damage from Bumi, Unleashed and huge earthbent lands, with Aggravated Assault acting as a compact infinite-combat line once Bumi can connect. Secondary beatdown routes come from Toph, the Blind Bandit, The Boulder, Ready to Rumble, and enormous Crystalline Armor-buffed lands. Xenagos, God of Revels and the boot/equipment suite provide haste, evasion, and protection, while the Lesson cards offer flexible removal, ramp, and extra earthbend effects.
