Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur token storm and wheel strategy commanded by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 using efficient mana dorks and rocks, deploys Xyris on Turn 3, and casts a mass draw or wheel effect on Turn 4. Resolving a single wheel spell like Wheel of Fortune or Windfall forces three opponents to draw seven cards each, immediately spawning 21 green Snake creature tokens. The deck converts this explosive board state into rapid victory through direct enter-the-battlefield burn from Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors, massive team buffs from Shared Animosity, or explosive mana generation through Cryptolith Rite. Supported by free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, the deck reliably protects its commander while digging relentlessly through its library.
