Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and combo build piloted by Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. It leverages asymmetric life swing mechanics, converting every card draw into life gain for its pilot while draining opponents for basic card velocity. The deck controls the board using efficient single-target removal and forced-sacrifice effects while constructing high-synergy mana engines via Cabal Coffers and Nyx Lotus. Card advantage engines like The One Ring, Necrodominance, and Black Market Connections replenish resources rapidly, offsetting life costs with Sheoldred's passive healing. The deck closes games through sudden burst damage via Peer into the Abyss and Dark Deal, or by executing a compact infinite combo between Exquisite Blood and gain-to-loss converters like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Sanguine Bond. It offers strong mid-game inevitability and high life total buffers against aggressive strategies.
