Deck overview

This is a mono-black sacrifice-and-reanimator deck built around The Meep's attack trigger. The core plan is to flood the board with cheap creatures and tokens, put an enormous mana-value creature onto the battlefield - usually via reanimation or Demon of Death's Gate's alternative cost - then attack with The Meep and sacrifice that creature, turning the entire army into X/X beaters where X is its mana value. A 9/9 or 12/12 army closes games in a swing or two. Secondary paths include Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drain, annihilator triggers from Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and It That Betrays, and infect from Blightsteel Colossus. The deck is extremely high-curve (5.33 average without lands) and leans almost entirely on its graveyard, with a dense reanimation package but no way to fill the graveyard itself.
